Butterflies are free, and so are we. This enticing gown is displayed in a window at the ever chic and elegant Palais Royal in Paris. Writer Colette lived here for years and, among a whole stable of French and international glitterati, frequented Le Grand Vefour restaurant.
The beautiful palace with its ever-changing garden of horticultural and artistic delights is one of my favorite spots in town, and the chi-chi shop windows are always worth a longing gaze.
Wouldn't you like to wear the slinky frock? And be surrounded by these divine creatures which must mean good luck to anyone who has the cheek to put it on?
