Letter From Paris: In My New Neighborhood

I love this fabulous sculpture--this compelling woman who lives in my new Paris neighborhood.  Does anyone recognize this beauty?  Do you know where she is?

This image reflects so much to me--strength, yearning, pain, and hope.  Her face is turned upwards to the heavens but her feet are rooted on this earth.  She is holding up the wall--holding it all together.  Haven't we all felt the same?  Is she a mortal, saint, or angel?

What does this wonderful sculpture say to you?  What do you see in her image?
