As I have made clear on at least one previous occasion, I am a lover of Frédéric Malle's luxe Editions du Parfum. Every breath I take could be filled with his divine fragrances--and many are--though I will not divulge the ones M. Malle chose for me himself. Can you imagine how much fun this was?
Perfume is actually no little subject. As Coco Chanel (on right) said, "A women who doesn't wear perfume has no future."
This photo wall of M. Malle's perfumers shows the dashing group of "noses" who each have natural and extraordinary talent in fragrance alchemy.
Yes, I could happily carry home these sheets of Rubber Incense, which are a high-tech version of the basic sweet sachet. The rubber sheets are "designed to perfume small spaces like closets, dressing rooms or car interiors."
How posh for the car!
And I love this delicious red cube that would look smart in any of my rooms. From Editions du Parfum:
An aesthetically pleasing machine which is capable of diffusing a completely natural odor of a bouquet of flowers upon request.
An object that is quiet enough that you can sleep right next to it without being disturbed. These were our wishes when we started to work on developing our Fleur Mécanique diffuser.
...This wireless machine recharges like a cell phone.... It is working with refills of 5 different fragrances developed for it.
One may also choose the basic candles, even if they're not as ultra-modern. But I would happily--and with pleasure--take any of the home fragrances shown above. They fit into my lap of fragrance luxury.
But tell the truth: Which one do you really want to perfume your rooms with?
