imperfect cirCles
By Contributing Editor Louise Brody, Graphic Designer, Art Director and Galerist
A CIRCLE IS the perfect shape; continuous, symmetrical, harmonious. It is said that Leonardo da Vinci could draw a perfect circle freehand… but I prefer imperfect circles such as these:
...or these...
Tower on the Quai de Grenelle, 15th arrondisement
Or this famous Paris “place”
*
and this infamous one
**
Yet I must admit to loving some near-perfect circles such as this...
Building by Robert Mallet-Stevens, 14th arrondisement
...and this...

which is not Only a circle but Also a star!
