A DISCOVERY : SAMPAR

WINTER IS FALLING upon us, and if it is important to wrap ourselves into a long and heavy handmade scarf, it is also important to take good care of our skin! As the old Chinese saying goes, there is no use in repainting the house if the foundations are rotten! So, please, before the winter starts to strike, let's take good care of our foundations.
A few months ago, a company moved into my building and set its office and showroom in the beautiful artist’s studio of our courtyard. When the last coat of paint dried and the interior design was finally settled, I discovered that SAMPAR was my new neighbor!
I only had one thing in mind: FREE SAMPLES! Sorry, I mean testing their products for YOU, of course! I tried an unannounced visit with a basket of fresh homemade muffins. And guess what!? I was received by a certain Miss Belle…really Miss Belle! Isn’t it a useful and fabulous name to have on your resume when you want to work in cosmetics? And not only is Miss Belle belle, but she is also adorable! She presented me with the entire range of their line and the very high-tech compounds of their products, such as: Hyaluronic Acid A Polysaccharides (complex carbohydrate) that is abundant in the body, found in connective tissue (tissue that supports and fills the body) but also in many viscous fluids, such as synovial fluid and fluids contained within the eye (vitreous among others). Hyaluronic acid has a water storage capacity and exceptional viscosity, and it improves the cohesion of cement between cells making it anti-aging powerful.
There are other, much more natural, ingredients as well: Acerola A fruit that is also known as Barbados or Caribbean cherry, because much like the cherry, acerola is a remarkable natural source of vitamin C. This vitamin complements the anti-free radical action of the urban advance complex. Geranium, commonly found in temperate regions and used as a decorative plant, is another one. Geranium oil is well known for its refreshing, anti-inflammatory, astringent and antiseptic properties.
On their website, by the way, you can find a complete list of all these compounds, their intended effects, and their origins. We appreciate this move, especially when we know how much unknown junk one can find in some other cosmetics. If we admire SAMPAR's transparency and ethic, we shall also love its textures--they are smooth, fluid and incorporate into the skin fabulously. Most important, the smells are light, fine, and subtle.
More than good product, SAMPAR offers practical solutions. The GOODWEEKEND KIT is perfect for an unexpected escapade with your lover. There are five products in small containers: Velvet Cleansing Milk, Equalizing Foam Peel, Ultra-hydrating Fluid, and Nocturnal Line-up Mask.
I always prefer to travel light!!
The Goodweekend kit is an illustration of a newcomer making its way into the galaxy of premium cosmetics. SAMPAR is distributed in France exclusively in all SEPHORA stores and worldwide in very selective spas. And of course you can shop online. My favorite product to discover in the line would be the Ultra-hydrating Fluid with its divine smell of light mint and white lupin.
Work well on your foundations and get ready for winter!
