SLEEK, MERCURIAL, THIS little porthole invites the onlooker into another universe of perfection and grace. The shadows and curves beckon the eye to question its purpose. It is pure design: the rearview mirror of a vintage Mercedes SL 300. Sometimes perfection is
not only found in nature.
Currently on view at the Pavilion of Art and Design, alongside works by contemporary artists and studio designers such as Jean-Michel Othoniel and Mathieu Lehanneur.
