Yes, Thursday brings us another Bastille Day in Paris, and that means more Bals des pompiers or Firemen's Balls! The parties are actually held at 15 fire stations around town, and they are smokin'!
Are the firemen hot? Yeah! Are the parties rocking? Yeah! Just take a look at the video below to get an idea...
Things get started around 9 P.M.--the lines getting in can be very long--and usually last till 3 A.M. or so the next morning. Some of the fire stations throw their parties both the 13th and 14th while others just gear up for one blowout. But these are a crazy couple of nights in Paris. The firemen definitely know how to party!
I happened to catch some of the firemen from the station on the rue du Jour washing their big trucks the other day. You can see the party banner hung across the street. Check them out...
